MAKE HISTORY

I have been incredibly lucky in my life as I have had the privilege of meeting super rich & super successful people in India, UAE as well as Vietnam.

One question that I have asked to many such esteemed clients is “What are your mantras of success?”

A response that I got many years back is still fresh in my mind and relevant now as we end yet another year of our lives.

His 3 rules of success, that this hugely successful business leader told me were

(1) Work hard
(2) Party hard
&
(3) Make history

Let me explain the last one in detail. Most of us begin a fresh year by setting new year goals like we will do for 2025.

“Make History” is the reverse process. As we end the year 2024, we can look back and make a note of all historical moments in our life in that year and then pick up the best of the best – this is our history for the year.

And then as we look back into more years and open more pages of the book of our life, we get more such historical moments thus giving us a feeling of achievement, satisfaction & happiness.

I have done this exercise every year with my better half, since 2008 and we both have a nice diary of our lives’ historical achievements.
