Encounter with “HUMBITION”

I was intrigued when I encountered the word “humbition” in the book “Go Further Faster” by brand & design evangelist, Lulu Raghavan, where she stresses on the importance of staying grounded and humble even as we nurture our ambitions.

Humble + Ambition = Humbition.

And recently I had a real life encounter with “humbition” when I met OTT Star, Jaideep Ahlawat, in Nagaland, while he was returning to Mumbai from his latest shoot in Kohima.

We spent only 15-20 minutes together but I could immediately sense his passion and ambition for success and at the same time his ability to stay grounded and humble.

I am convinced that “humbition” is an essential “mantra” for success even in the Corporate world, especially for leaders across all businesses & functions.
